Fire breaks out at Glens Falls fire station | News

Firefighters in Warren County didn't have to go far to fight a fire last night.

That's because it broke out at their fire station.

Our media partners at the Post-Star newspaper say the fire started in the kitchen of the West Glens Falls Fire Department's main station.

It was an electrical problem with a microwave oven.

The paper reports no one was hurt and that the fire did not affect the department's ability to respond to calls.
