Abandoned dog found with duct tape around legs

A dog was found Friday morning duct taped and tossed to the side of a road in Argyle.

Police say a Department of Transportation worker found the dog on Coach Road.

Its paws had been taped together. Police think the muzzle of the husky-malamute mix had also been taped shut, but somehow the dog was able to get the tape off.

SPCA workers say it's one of the worst cases of abuse they've seen.
